About.

We create a Christ-centered, safe, and welcoming environment for children aged 3.5–5 years old where they can learn about Jesus and grow in God’s love through Bible stories, worship, and fun, engaging activities.

Through age-appropriate teaching and interactive experiences, children are encouraged to discover who Jesus is, understand His love for them and grow in their faith.

We love helping children celebrate God through music, movement, games, and creative activities that build confidence, spark joy, and create lasting memories.

What Parents Should Know.

Check-In & Pick-Up:

Parents are asked to bring their children to the classroom once dismissed and pick them up following the service.

Snacks & Allergies:

Snacks may be offered during the morning. Please let our leaders know about any allergies or dietary concerns.

Washroom Assistance:

Leaders will accompany children to the bathroom and wait outside the door. If a child requires additional support, a parent will be contacted.

Kids safety.

Volunteers at Kids on a Mission are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every volunteer is screened with a background check and the kids hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

A Safe Place For Your Child To Grow.

At HBC, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and loving environment where families can confidently leave their children while attending service.

Our caring and trusted leaders create a space where every child feels valued, included and surrounded by God’s love. We want each child to feel happy, secure, and supported from the moment they arrive.

If your child feels nervous or misses you during service, our leaders will comfort and support them right away. If needed, we will contact you so your child continues to feel safe, cared for, and at ease.

Each parent is provided with a beeper system to be contacted during the service.
